BREAKING: Tom Winnifrith & Evil Banksta: Belluscura, TMT Acquisitions, Nigel Wray and Dowgate

Nigel Wray attended my most recent wedding almost ten and a half years ago and he is my friend. Or I really hope that he still is. I do not wish that to change but the optics of the proposed takeover by Belluscura (BELL) of TMT Acquisitions (TMTA) now look terrible for him and he should insist that it be renegotiated. I flagged this up in Bearcast yesterday but I now dig deeper and bring in comment from Evil Banksta who is short of Belluscura.

Eurasia Mining: Evil Banksta sticks the boot in

Evil Banksta has, as have I, called the spoof Eurasia Mining (EUA) perfectly, naturally attracting stacks of criticism from the Bulletin Board savants. My target price, as I explained earlier HERE, is essentially 0p. But what does the great one say?

Horizonte admits it could run out of cash before Christmas – Evil Banksta was right ( again)

Oh dear, oh dear as disgraced share tipster Old Mother Mike Walters used to say as yet another one of his share tips headed for a crash landing in Tits up Alley. One of his biggest disasters was, of course, Minmet (MNT) the fraudulent gold miner based in Brazil. Horizonte Minerals (HZM) wants to be a lithium miner based in Brazil. My 2 year old daughter wants to own a real life pink unicorn. I want… well, you know all about Cheryl Cole.

Message from Evil Banksta on a 5 Star holiday break – why Upland is a joke valuation

Evil Banksta described at ShareStock how he takes Mrs Banksta on numerous luxury holidays funded by his winnings from shorting and then spends all day in front of a PC plotting his next swoop on some overvalued promote. And as such ,from a five star hotel somewhere hot and warm, I have received this message about Upland Resources (UPL) where the Banksta is short. I have no skin in the game but the great bear says:

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Vast Resources says something that it knows may not be true while Canadian Overseas deceives

I start with some fake news from the BBC, then it is Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI), Vast Resources (VAST), Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) and an Evil Banksta fave, as a bear, Petra Diamonds (PDL). Then to the DOS attacks against this website. we must be doing something right!

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: back from the Cheshire fuzz speed course as Kefi flies on a dreadful day for parody account Magna Carta

Words almost fail me on how dire the course was. The only mercy was that I was not asked for my preferred pronouns. After that I look at Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI), Horizonte Minerals (HZM), – where I never crowed, just warned and where Evil Banksta warns you again today, Boston International (BIH) – a scandal in the making I suggest – Metro Bank (MTRO), Regtech Open (RTOP) and on how the regulators show how much they love me for being so clever and such a good citizen, yet again ( Modesty being my middle name)

Avacta Interims – yes it is going to need to raise by Easter, Evil Banksta thinks 80p next stop

You can tell a lot about a company by the quality of its shareholders. As such before we deal with interims from Avacta (AVCT) I bring you two posts one after another from the ADVFN Bulletin board before my thoughts and those of Evil Banksta:

Canadian Overseas – Placing changes nothing, I do not believe leadership change is real

Evil Banksta is short of Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL). If I was ever to short a stock, and I don’t ever short, this would be high on my list. Today there is news that its death spiral provider Anavio has put in $3.5 million at 4p and that founder and boss, Arthur Millholland, the king of the value destroyers has stepped aside. Well sort of. So what do myself and Evil Banksta make of it all. First to Mr Banksta who says:

BREAKING: Evil Banksta writes to the FCA regarding Cineworld’s listing and rule breaches

Evil Banksta is the sort of naïve chap who thinks that the FCA actually bothers implementing its own rules. If I had a bridge to sell I know who I’d be selling it to. He has again written to the FCA pointing out that the crack regulators are ignoring their own rules regarding Cineworld (CINE) in not suspending the shares at once for a failure to publish results. The credulous fellow writes in his own name:

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Has Andrew Male got photos of Novum boss Hugh McAlister and a naked BBC presenter?

In today’s bearcast I discuss Cloudbreak Discovery (CDL) and the relationship between crooked Andrew Male and Novum. Then Predator Oil & Gas (PRD), Cellular Goods (CBX) and some incriminating emails on twitter and finally IOG (IOG) and why Evil Banksta reckons the bond price tells you this is a wipeout.

Leopards don’t change their spots – Harland & Wolff, and boss John Wood

On Saturday in bearcast I pointed out that the 5.56 PM Friday released results from Harland & Wolff (HARL) showed it to be insolvent and that things were only going to get worse. Anyone owning the shares is insane. Evil Banksta has been in touch to point out that, as ever, I was too kind.

BREAKING: Evil Banksta slams TW omission and says IOG equity is "toast"

There is no pleasing some folks is there? It seems that I missed something out from my list of 39 red flags for bears earlier. Worse still, much though it pains me to admit it, the pedant Evil Banksta might have a point.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: If you don't want me to talk about Brokerman Dan's underpants...

You know what to do HERE. After discussing that subject linked to sock wearing techniques on long walks, I look at Wood Group (WG), Scotgold (SGZ), Eurasia Mining (EUA), Pembridge (PERE) and at the wise words from that clever fellow Evil Banksta which convince me  after yesterday’s bearcast HERE  that Tullow (TLW) is in fact a stonking short. Sorry Malcolm.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: what to think about 3 gold miners? Has the curse of Chris Cleverly struck again?

Today I look at Conroy Gold & Natural Resources (CGNR), Ariana (AAU) and Bluebird Merchant Ventures (BMV). Then at Pantheon Resources (PANR) and at ADVFN (AFN). Finally Evil Banksta has sent me this Bulletin Board post below on Technology Minerals (TMI). I have always been bearish on this stock as any company in any way linked to Chris Cleverly is always a dog with fleas. The post below looks to be kosher, thought it may not be, so, I suspect, does not alter the bear case and my target remains 0p.

Canadian Overseas Petroleum – deliberately confusing release as death spiral shares issued at just 7.3p

I cannot remember the last time that I saw such a duplicitous dishonest company, this has to be one of the easiest shorts out there at the moment!” says Evil Banksta of Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL). He is not alone, Lucian Miers has also called in from the grim North today, outraged as to how the FCA allows Canadian to publish the sort of misleading piffle it has today.

Hat tip Evil Banksta - Canadian Overseas ramping just 9 days ago

Today Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) warned that it could easily go bust. It must have known that nine days ago, it is just only now that a prospectus is ready that it has had to ‘fess. Yet just nine days ago, knowing what was coming, disgraced CEO Arthur Millholland was ramping hard with a paid for interview on Proactive as you can see below. Shame on Proactive for failing to ask any tough questions of the old rogue. Call yourself journalists? You are just low life investment street hookers. As for Arthur, words fail me. He is a disgrace and should be forced to resign for ensuring folks lost money in this way.

Okyo Pharma Limited – surely shares should be suspended first thing when the market reopens?

Evil Banksta flags this up on the comments section but this merits a wider audience. This is a disgrace. The great bear, with grammar corrected by myself and a bit of added poison from me, notes:

Evil Banksta says I got my Shield numbers wrong – but he still thinks it’s screwed

I plead guilty. I recorded the bearcast HERE the other day when I was ill and so marginally delirious so I may have erred when it comes to Shield Therapeutics (STX). Evil Banksta is kind enough to assist me with my maths and he writes:

Tom Winnifrith Bonus Bearcast: Crack out Evil Banksta's ouzo, vindicated on Naked Wines disaster call in just weeks

The first big call on Naked Wines (WINE) was 18 days ago HERE. Then there was a big follow up article on September 6 HERE. After 2 announcements at no-one is watching O’Clock last night the shares have crashed by 40% today. I discuss where next as I ponder Evil Banksta’s generous gifts on Saturday.

Cineworld worth 0p-1.5p, stay short – Evil Banksta

My problem, as ever, is being to much of a nice guy. So, generously, have long argued that Cineworld (CINE) shares might be worth 2p. And I stay with that view after yesterday’s Chapter 11 news.  Evil Banksta,, being a bankster, is by definition not a nice guy and so has been even more bearish. He stays short and bearish and argues that, in a best case scenario, the shares are going to 1.5p. And unlike Damian from Northern Ireland who should be in jail, he explains his reasoning in a balanced fashion, thus:

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast : an absolute shocker from the FCA - Zamaz & free Cineworld cash thanks to the morons

I end with some logistics on Sharestock, booking for supper, tickets etc – we are now looking at almost 80 seats on the lawn. If you want to book yours please do so this weekend so I can sort out catering etc HERE. I start with economics lessons for the NHS and greedy and lazy Shipmans, then onto Cineworld (CINE), then thanks to Evil Banksta, what is an RCF and musicMagpie (MMAG). Finally today’s new issue Zamaz (ZAMZ) a £77 million IPO worth, £350,000. This is a true shocker. What is the FCA thinking about in permitting this to list on the Standard List?

Evil Banksta explains why, with my 2p price target, I am far too kind to Cineworld

I estimate Cineworld (CINE) is worth c. 2p per share, as noted in yesterday’s bearcast. Perhaps my greatest flaw is overkindness. It is a real failing, with which I constantly struggle.  Anyhow, Evil Banksta – being a banksta – has no such problems, and takes me to task for my generosity. He explains:

Supply@ME Capital Chairman walks – release total Bull

It was on July 1 that Evil Banksta sent me a job advert for the non exec chairmanship at Supply@ME Capital (SYME) asking me if I was thinking of applying. With no wish to add chairing a fraud to ,my CV I declined but I assumed that Supply had already announced that Dominic White was off. Schoolboy error!

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: time to launch a crowdfund for Evil Banksta & his poor colleagues

Firstly, thank you to those who have donated to Woodlarks as it fights for survival. I include Robert the tractor driver.  If you have not donated please do so HERE. But maybe hold back a few coppers for Evil Banksta and hois colleagues in banking, I describe their suffering and how long it will last. And what the ramifications are for companies such as Restaurant Group (RTN). then I look at Open Orphan which has GOT to issue an RNS after this piece HERE. Finally a few thoughts on Versarien (VRS).

Bulletin Board Moron of the week is spotted by Evil Banksta, thanks again to Eurasia Mining

At 3.4p Eurasia Mining (EUA) is a company shown to have lied to investors, with zero balance sheet support and which is burning cash. That is why, it needs to do a placing. Yet it is still capitalised at £92 million. So, what are the shares worth?  I asked you for the craziest examples of Bulletin Board Moron madness last week and while there were some great spots as you can see HERE, Evil Banksta came up with the gem below:

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - It is more than six years since I published the Bloody Dossier

Firstly, I am delighted to say that NoGold has been in touch about the £50 bet. Good man. Then I reflect on G3 Exploration (G3E) in light of Evil Banksta’s excellent piece yesterday. It is now more than six years since I ignored a certain amount of pressure and published the Bloody Dossier HERE. Under the Roger Lawson rules I would not have published. I am, again, vindicated. I comment on Anglo African (AAOG) and will have more to follow on toxic David Sefton and Iconic (ICON) later. Today’s news moves Lyin’ James Draper of Bidstack (BIDS) one place up my target list. I look at Online Blockchain (OBC) in detail and also at Fulham Shore (FUL) where the numbers look all wrong and which is, I fear, an accident waiting to happen. The £65 million valuation is crackers.

Letter to AIM regulation and FCA re Bidstack – request for investigation into market abuse & more

My comrade Evil Banksta has today exposed how AIM listed Bulletin Board darling Bidstack (BIDS) has misled investors and is also clearly sitting on a lack of profits and sales warning. For the former naughtiness the FCA should iopen an enquiry at once into possible market abuse, for the latter AIM regulation must force a statement. Being a fine upstanding citizen I have today written to the regulators. My missive follows:

Obtala - shares to more than double: broker VSA: we publish the note

VSA is house broker to Obtala (OBT) so is not impartial. Neither am I as we own a small number of shares following a Dragon's Den pitch as the 2017 UK Investor Show. But the price target suggests real upside and VSA's research team is well regarded and since we happily published an uber-negative piece from Evil Banksta the other day, this offers some balance. VSA has tweaked its forecasts
